Survival Guide Deadlines

Hey Estudiantes:

Molly mentioned that some of you are unsure about survival guide deadlines. Here ya go:

  • The "soft deadline" (Soft deadline = STRONGLY RECOMMENDED.) I won't actually be checking, but for your sanity/planning as we move onto another project phase, you should strive to have final, exhibition-ready, printed survival guides done by the End of the Day on Friday, May 3rd. 
  • The "Hard deadline" is to have your final guide ready by the beginning of class on May 9th for exhibition that evening. 
So you can plan...
  • You will have work time for the entire hour on Tuesday.
  • You will have 20 minutes of time in class on Wednesday to tie together loose ends/ask me questions since we won't have seen each other for a bit. 
  • After this Wednesday, there will be no time given in class for work on these guides. We will be working on a new phase of the project.

Participios irregulares, vocab para comer mientras viajas y para dar y pedir direcciones

En Clase:

  • Devolví muchos papeles.

    • You can download those lists from Quizlet by selecting "print". They are also in the "Voy a Sobrevivir" folder on my google site.

    • I distrubuted this vocabulary of irregular participles. This is required and you're going to have an assessment that includes this vocabulary on Monday.

Tarea:
  • 2 topics completed according to THIS TEMPLATE. *I recommend you go to my google site and download this "Template for Making Survival Guides" document from the Voy a Sobrevivir folder. 
    • If you choose not to use this template, I am still expecting strict adherence to the sections as described in the template, in the expectations, and as shown in my example scenario.
  • Complete draft of your 3-paragraph introduction (in English!) .

    • I am going to revise the expectations sheet based on excellent questions you all asked today, but in the meantime, you can see an example guide and expectations on yesterday's post.
Tarea:
  • Estudien (Study): demonstrative adjectives and past particples as adjectives. There's an assessment tomorrow!
  • 1-hour of focused work time on 1 scenario. I will check that you've done this tomorrow and that you're heading in the right direction.
